Meet the Herbalist

Aneirin Sprake-Harris, BSc (Hons), MSc, HMDip

I studied biology at the University of Sussex, followed by a masters degree in systems science. Later I decided to pursue my life long interest in herbal medicine and joined the Heartwood Professional Herbal Medicine Diploma programme, graduating with distinction.

I have a keen interest in the traditional practice of Western herbal medicine, and in educating people about the history of herbal medicine in Britain and Europe; a tradition as rich and complex as that of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda. I specialise in medicinal plants indigenous to the British Isles.
